Last week in Episode 63 - Moses and the Burning Bush - Exodus 4, we continued with Moses’ conversation with God at the burning bush. We paid attention to a few interpretations of God’s ‘sign’ to Moses and revisited the discussion of God’s name and the implications of that name in Moses’ task of leading the Israelites.
This week in Episode 64 - Moses’ Hand - Exodus 4:1-2, God heeds Moses’ concern of the Israelites’ skepticism about God and who He is, and we work through the legitimacy of Moses’ logic. We revisit the proper understanding of how ancient peoples believed in and interacted with gods, and wrap up with a discussion of sheep and goats.
