We discussed how the narrative first presents Joseph to the reader and began thinking about Judah as the hero of the Joseph story, a line of thought we will unfold as the narrative progresses.
This week in Episode 43, we revisit Girard to tackle another tenet of his anthropology: the founding murder, from which the religious rituals and culture of a society evolves.
